#Day1 MENTAL DETOX🍃
Our mind is like our body – its health depends on the inputs we give them.
You wouldn’t put unhealthy food or toxins in your body because you know they will make you sick, right?
It’s the same with our mind.
We need to be very careful with the thoughts and information we let in, as they have a huge impact on our mindset, how we feel and how we behave.
📝So today’s task is to pay attention to our ‘mental diet’.
What am I feeding my mind with?
✅Make a list of at least 3 external factors that trigger you to have negative thoughts and feelings of powerlessness, fear or anger.
✅Once identified, decide how you are going to reduce them as much as you can during this week.
- News – Check-in only once a day to stay informed.
- Social Media – Unfollow haters and contacts with negative energy.
- Draining colleagues / friends – Reduce contact by muting notifications and connect with them only when and if you are emotionally available. SET LIMITS!
- Constant notifications on phone – Turn airplane mode on for as long as you can.
