It’s a time of sacredness: it’s a time of giving and it’s a time of giving love and receiving love. It’s a beautiful time to be able to concentrate oneself into that energy of love, because we are often driven to have relationships where we battle instead of loving people. So I think Christmas, Thanksgiving - all these sacred moments are amazing moments where we can connect back to our hearts and bring all our relationships into a love energy. Really it’s a time to just connect back to the sacredness of life. So the first thing I would say is really enjoy the sacredness of the moment because really the essence of who you are is sacred, so don’ t lose that opportunity to connect to your own sacred nature. I think there are two things that are to be celebrated in this kind of moment: first of all your relationships with others, all the people that live with you, pass by, give to you, don’t give to you - everybody around in your life is there for a reason. It might not show but very often it’s to exchange energy and love. So it’s a time to celebrate your relationships and try to see everybody around you with a vision of love, of understanding: just catch a vision of each one with an attitude of love. It will completely shift your relationship to each and every one: instead of looking at relationships with aggressive or negative energy you will look at people with a love energy and with understanding and compassion. It will completely shift your own energy and the way you connect with people. The main thing that I think we should connect and concentrate on during these holidays is gratitude. Have a moment in your free time to really connect to your deep self and remember how grateful you are for your life and how grateful you are to each and everyone that is sharing life with you. Again this will create a circle of gratitude around you. You will hold everybody in your thought of gratitude, it will create a circle of love in your life and this energy is going to expand around you and also expand out to the people who share time and energy with you. So that’s my first advice - just consider your relationships in another energy, more giving, compassionate and grateful. The second thing I would really look at during these holidays is taking time for yourself and really try to find moments of silence and meditation, or where you can write and really connect with your deep self. That’s the biggest gift you can give to yourself during this moment of giving and loving. I think it’s time to put yourself at the centre and giving love to yourself is very important. The best thing is to create a kind of Christmas for yourself. And what is the best gift you can give to yourself? Surely it’s to allow your truth to come out and really express it. Basically it’s to connect with your inner child and allow that child to talk about his gifts, his memories, his frustrations, his emotions and just allow that box to be opened and connect with all of that and offer yourself the luxury of listening to that. And then start expanding your life in this new freedom and express your gifts. The last thing I have for you for this Christmas and New Year is to say it’s a time when there’s magic in the air, and honestly it’s a time to really grab it and enjoy it! Magic exists all the time, but because we are running and working in the world we’re not paying attention to that magic and really we’re ignoring the essence of our souls. It’s a pity. But during these holidays it’s amazing how people celebrate their magic. It’s as if they know it exists but they only allow themselves to use it or express it during these holidays. I think it’s time to really believe in it and just enjoy it. Enjoy the magic in your life and see the signs and symbols of it everywhere, because it will talk to you. Enjoy it!
