Go Slow...and breathe...
Relax, all you need to do is breathe.
Try this exercise out whenever you feel 'overwhelm' kicking in. It's a good exercise to do as you leave work each day.
Take yourself to a quiet spot.
Close your eyes.
Let out a much longer breath than usual. Don't try to breathe in a longer breath. If you let out a longer breath you'll naturally breathe deeper.
Notice your breathing for a few moments.
Imagine now, as you take a new fresh breath in, that it is filling with you a beautiful energy. Make it coloured it if you want, your favourite colour. See that colour flowing through your body, filling each part, right down to your fingertips and toes.
And as you breathe out imagine all the cares of the week going with that breath.
