The Great Wake Up! Week 9 experiment
It was good to de-clutter all of my mindless thoughts before I started the day properly. I'm a natural born worrier anyway so I do spend a lot of my time in panic mode, causing me endless and uncontrollable stress about a lot of things that are beyond my control anyway. It was nice to be given the opportunity to 'unload' before my day began.
At times I have written my worries down before bed as I get so stressed out at times that I'm unable to sleep and I become very restless. I tend to speak up more if I'm struggling now or I have things on my mind so that I'm not trying to deal with everything on my own and this has also helped.
I have enjoyed the quiet time that this experiment has provided first thing in the mornings, just as the sun is coming up. I struggled with doing 10 minutes outside earlier in the Great Wake Up! with it being bleak winter but now that springtime is springing, I'm finding the great outdoors to be a great source of freedom and contentment, so it's been good sitting at the dining table and looking over the blooming garden whilst checking out the blue sky mornings which always seem to improve my mood.
Much love and best wishes,
