Mr Blue Sky
Spend some time forest bathing every day for four days, embracing nature
This weeks experiment was to spend some time in a forest every day for four days.
This is pretty easy for me as I live in a small village close to fields and trees ... and I probably go walking every day without fail that would involve some fields or a few trees.
I imagine this experiment not being so easy for the city dwellling Wake Uppers.
When I do venture in a more remote forest my imagination does go a little crazy. I imagine a werewolf or a vampire might be stalking me in the style of Twilight. This is all part of the escapism from everyday life and I chuckle to myself as my sensible side asks me ' how old am I?'
So, I thought I would turn this experiment on its head this week and spend some time in a wide open space. I am lucky to work ten minutes away from this beauty. Ted and I headed off on our mini adventure. So accessible to me but often forgotten in the day to day business of living.
I swear my dog Ted was smiling as he raced in and out of the heather disturbing wildlife. My eyes felt truly nourished and I was able to take some deep breaths in a week which has not been great. Once again from this experiment I am awed by the beauty and healing properties of nature.

What a beautiful photo Fi- looks truly idyllic. You have made me desperate for a dog and the countryside 😁
ha, ha, I love your escapism of being stalked by a werewolf or a vampire. When I'm in forests I always imagine coming face to face with a huge lion which escaped from a safari park or a leopard. Escapism is great or as Tony the Tiger used to say, "GGGGGGGGGGGGreat!"
Love the creativity! and your playfulness...Thanks Fi and yes a beaut where you live. C xx
