For nearly 20 years, I've worked in the digital media sector, with hands-on experience in editorial, marketing, sales and R&D. I'm passionate about engaging and understanding customers to develop great content and products. Formerly Chief Product & Customer Officer at Zapnito, I'm now an advisor to the company.
I am proud to be editor of Psychologies, a magazine that champions, challenges and coaches us to think differently so we can solve our own problems and create a life that nourishes us. Author of Making The Big Leap and The Big Peace, Suzy believes that the secret to happiness is living life to the full right here, right now, committing to a few goals now and again and taking Oscar, the Psychologies dog for a walk round the field when it all gets a bit too much.
I work as a stand up comedian and MC all around the UK and abroad including gigging in German in Germany! I also run award-winning comedy nights featuring all-female line ups in London and Birmingham. In addition, I've organized a series of benefit nights for the Helen Bamber Foundation in association with the actor, Emma Thompson. The nights have raised almost £20,000 and have featured comics such as Jo Brand, Jenny Éclair, Hattie Hayridge, Lucy Porter and Shazia Mirza. I am a freelance journalist and writer, working primarily as Psychologies Eco Living Editor, digital editor and features writer. I love the outdoors – walking with my dog, hiking, swimming, camping – and this has fuelled my passion for sustainable and eco-friendly living. I am currently also writing a monthly 'Eco Worrier' column for Psychologies. Follow me on social media, and in the magazine, for more.
