My role is to help you find your emotional and psychological Centre of Balance, the safe place in yourself. If you can find no safe place for yourself then we can work together to help you create one. From our Centre we have choice. Choice about the relationships in our life and choice about the quality of those relationships. We can choose how we want to feel about events or situations or people. Yes! We do have choice about how we feel. When we are Centred then our body is better able to repair and heal and grow so we are healthier. When we are at our Centre of Balance then we can be in the world in a way that expresses the richness of who we are and not who we felt we 'should' be or really 'ought' to be. As a therapist I create a space, both physical and psychological, where together we can explore how you experience your world and the beliefs you hold about yourself, others and the world... Because beliefs may be just that, beliefs and not truths. I am a UKCP accredited neurolinguistic psychotherapist, clinical hypnotherapist and coach-therapist. I also offer supervision to therapists. Hi Life Lab readers. I specialise in working with visual and creative individuals - architects, designers and those who like to create, draw and diagram when they think. My background experience in the architectural sector means I’m right at home with people who love what they do and are keen to “design” their career rather than leave it to chance. Creative careers often go hand in hand with perfectionism, energy-sapping deadlines, strong attention to detail and a long-hours working culture. This demands a level of focus, resilience and self-belief - areas that I often help with. As a qualified and experienced Executive Coach, I really enjoy helping creative people get ahead in their career. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more about coaching and how it could help you.
My background is in technology, professional services and digital media. I co-founded Zapnito due to a number of related observations from my time in these sectors: 1) the social web is creating a huge amount of noise 2) expertise that brands have built up over decades is being drowned out and hidden from those that need it 3) these brands are therefore losing their audience to often undeserving and unhelpful sources, and 4) people are finding it harder to access the expertise that they truly value. I therefore decided to create Zapnito, a white-label platform to help trusted brands reclaim their audiences via expert-driven knowledge networks.
