Musings on a walk

My morning walks seem to be giving life a holding space where lots of other certainties have gone.

The first thing I realised as I was walking this morning, is that like the politicians, I have prioritised economics over things like sustainability.

When I had kids I added them to my life so it was work + family.

Then I had a breakdown so my life equation was then work + family + health/well-being.

Now COVID-19 has got me thinking I want to add in more; work + family + health/well-being + sustainability + creativity….  Here’s what I was thinking as I recorded the podcast this morning:

I was talking to another friend and we were both acknowledging how fast time seemed to be going even though we are less busy.  As I was sitting in the garden listening to the birds in the sun it came to me that now life is less busy but more full and I like that.

You can watch here on Youtube or listen on a podcast to find out more about what I mean.

I hope this week has found you well.
