Power is Being You

Power isn't all about influence or control, but about being brave enough to be the real you.

To me power is having the confidence to be your real self. It’s not about having control over a situation, or about having a lot of influence over a particular decision. It’s about being you.

Power is about being brave enough to live your life in alignment with your values and beliefs. It’s about sticking to your values and beliefs despite the external pressures you receive from people or the society to change. Power is about remaining true to your authentic self.

Power is about being comfortable in your own skin. It’s about embracing your whole self, about celebrating your strengths and accepting your weaknesses. Power is about understanding who you are.

Power is about being self-compassionate. It’s about giving yourself the permission to fail and to make mistakes as much as it’s about making time to rejoice every achievement and every tiny step towards personal growth. Power is about loving who you are.
