Yesterday, the Minded Institute had a stand at the celebration of International Yoga Day at Alexandra Palace in North London. The U.N. International Yoga Day was inaugurated last year, 2015, on 21st June having been declared by the United National General Assembly on December 11th, 2014.

It was a sunny and successful day at Alexandra Palace, with free yoga sessions all day, talks, meditation, a variety of stands and stalls and an atmosphere of enthusiasm and connection. Minded took the stage for an hour's yoga class and brief talk by Heather, highlighting the Early Day Motion passed last week for bringing yoga into the NHS;http://www.parliament.uk/edm/2016-17/215 and the new Big UK Yoga Survey being conducted by Westminster University;https://www.westminster.ac.uk/…/sci…/big-uk-yoga-survey-buys .

The on-going work and trainings offered by the Minded Institute were also shared with the multitudes of people who turned up during the course of the day, with particular interest being expressed in our 550-hour Professional Yoga Therapy Training, for which we are having a taster day in London this Saturday, 25th June. We wish each of you every blessing this International Yoga Day. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
