This week marks the halfway point of reflection for all us Great Wake Up! bloggers...

To say that the Great Wake Up blog has been an adventure so far is an understatement. These experiments have been challenging for me - sometimes physically, sometimes emotionally, often psychologically - and to open myself up to them and experience the breadth of these ranging trips into uncharted territory, is sort of a victory in itself.

I've already spoken about these things in previous blog posts, but the changes I've been slowly but surely experiencing have been hugely beneficial - I've been sleeping better, feeling more creative, and finding more time for myself in days when I thought I'd just be too frazzled and stressed to do anything. Even now as I'm writing this on a quiet, cool June evening, I can feel myself listening to my body clock - getting ready for sleep and not trying to push past it to get in an episode of 'Orange Is The New Black' or chatting on Facebook.

A long time ago, I wasn't very adventurous. I'm still not, really. But even little quests like this can help inspire even the timidest person into trying new things and help push them down the path of treating themselves better and maybe, just maybe, into being a better version of themselves. I can't guarantee that this positivity will continue down the road - who knows what will happen, right? - but at this moment, I'm contented and happy and looking forward to the second half of challenges, and that's as good as I can be.

This is Chris Haigh, happily and sleepily, walking past the halfway point of no return...

It's inspirational how you've given yourself so wholly to the experiences, Chris!
