What if we put our energy and attention into creating versus consuming?

The Psychologies team have a shared WhatsApp group and as the virus took hold of the country, I noticed that an enthusiasm for crafting and creating began to take over our group. The team were sharing pictures of their knitting, their crochet projects, their baking triumphs and their poems.

What if the virus was a wake-up call, we pondered? What if we stopped the mindless consuming? What if if were being invited to start creating instead?

The Psychologies team want to lead from the front - and encourage us all to put the screens down and pick up the paint-brush, the knitting needles, the pen and the paper. Let's go old school!

This is not about creating perfect works of art. It's about creating because we want to, because it's fun, because we're learning something new, because it gives us a simple sense of satisfaction.

Let's #createyourself and share your joy, pictures and ideas in our Psychologies Connected Facebook group.
