Forgiveness - because you are worth it!

It is said that “the past is history, tomorrow a mystery, today a gift, and that is why we call it the present.” Today is all we ever really have. Carrying negative energy from your past into your present is a direct cause of energy drain, stress and illness. Harbouring anger, pain, disappointment and rage is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. You will end up ill, not them. Holding onto upset, pain or anger is a sure way to shorten your life. Since it is only energy, that we are attaching a particular vibration to, we can choose to shift the vibration and forgive and let go of the negative energy at will. If and when we choose, not before.

Forgiving Yourself

Forgiveness is an inside job, it is not for them, it's for you!

It is said that “the past is history, tomorrow a mystery, today a gift, and that is why we call it the present.” Today is all we ever really have. Carrying negative energy from your past into your present is a direct cause of energy drain, stress and illness. Harbouring anger, pain, disappointment and rage is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. You will end up ill, not them. Holding onto upset, pain or anger is a sure way to shorten your life. Since it is only energy, that we are attaching a particular vibration to, we can choose to shift the vibration and forgive and let go of the negative energy at will. If and when we choose, not before.

This is the choice you have the power to make any time. No one makes you angry, isn't that great, no-one can actually make you angry. we choose to get angry about XYZ, Which is fine, some things are worth geting angry about. But many things are not. It is our choice. And we can also choose to forgive whenever we are ready. All choices. And choosing to forgive can positively benefit your health.

Once you are ready to let go, the question is how do you do it? The ability to forgive yourself and others is truly a wonderful blessing. When we awaken heart chakra energy, anger and fiery passion melt into compassion. To forgive is a gift we allow ourselves and offer for the good of all beings. Forgiveness creates peace within, and that peace has a ripple effect that radiates out to others. Use this exercise for forgiving yourself and others.

Take a moment to give thanks for your life and the choices you have made. Ask to be blessed with the strength, insight and grace you need to forgive.

Four Stages of Forgiveness

1. Regain your Power Take a moment to reflect on what the pain, anger or resentment is doing to you. How is it draining your energy? How is this negative energy affecting you?

2 Release the negativity Close your eyes and allow the negative energy to lift from you; let it disperse. There is no need to hold it any longer. It is not yours. Feel the lightness as you release and let this energy go. Change vibration, from one of holding and contraction to letting go and expansion. Breath a sign of relief as you choose freedom.

3 Recognition of universal love Open your heart and embrace universal love. Know that right in this moment all is well. Inhale love, feel love, exhale love every cell in your body and extend out to all beings. Feel the powerful energy as it flows through you.

4 Forgiveness

Feel yourself held in unconditional love. See those you forgive embraced in unconditional love. Let go completely. Reclaim your power, your energy, your love and compassion. Give thanks for all the blessings received.

As we forgive, energy that once held us back is released to propel us forward.

As your vibration lifts may you continue to be held in love and showered with an abundance of blessings.
