Meet Akcelina Cvijetic, our Spirit Editor, who knows just what it takes to nurture our all-important souls, alongside our bodies
I have loved Psychologies magazine since the very first issue and always read it cover to cover! It has been such a genuine pleasure to see it become the premiere wellness destination. What I really love the most is that each page and feature is infused with its values of integrity, authenticity, service, inspiration and empowerment. These are the very values I uphold and share that made it both a privilege and honour to be part of the new wellness vision of the #360me team. I am so excited about the journey ahead and hope to engage with Psychologies' readers as we all embark upon this new holistic path together.
Being a wellbeing specialist allows me to nurture mind, body and spirit to achieve an authentic wellness experience at the most personalised level. I am deeply passionate about making a difference to each person so that they can create wonderful ripple effects for themselves and others. My specialist therapy blend combines Naturopathic Nutrition, Emotional Freedom Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Life Coaching, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Metaphysical Therapies. I also draw upon the wisdom of Ayurveda, Vedanta and The Law of the Five Elements from the Traditional Chinese Medicine.
On a personal level, I love to nourish my body with food full of its natural goodness, my spirit with inspirational insights and my mind by travelling the world. My five-a-day include my daily spiritual practice, kundalini yoga, Vedic meditation, nutritional rainbow and laughter. I am deeply grateful for the blessings of my wonderful family and friends.
As a result of the 360 approach to wellness I have become known as a leading wellbeing specialist and wellbeing sage for emotional and spiritual health. In essence, it is my honour to nurture, support and empower each person to feel their best, inspired and able to flourish personally and professionally.
I create practical and effective recommendations that are easy to implement to enhance the results and be the optimum wellness gift that keeps on giving. Each person I meet inspires me to do my utmost for them so that they leave feeling better than when they came to see me. I'll be sharing my baby-steps advice, to help you thrive and soar, throughout the magazine's #360me Plan, every month, and here, on LifeLabs.
