Don’t drink, don’t smoke – what do you do?
This weeks challenge is not consume any caffeine, sugar or alcohol.
When I told my friend what this weeks challenge was her instant response was ‘F**k that!’ and I must admit I was more than a little daunted about giving up all three. Although I don’t consider myself to be into drugs in any shape or form you have to consider why is the thought of living without these three things for four days such a challenge. Are they not another form of drugs if we are addicted to them or are they just a habit that resides in our lives because we are on auto pilot and we partake because everyone else does? Is everyone using a crutch of some kind to get through the day?
But hey, I like a challenge, if someone says I can’t do something then I think hmmm I will find a way and I am not keen on rolling over and saying I can’t.
That said my week has been crazy so far and the timing a little off for me and I need to put some planning in place. So my four days will start Sunday and I will let you know how I get on if I am not in bed dying of withdrawal symptoms as I do like my paneds *!
