These experiments have continued to shape my life, one way or another, in ways I didn't quite expect. I've been more focused on my sleep, on listening to my body in a natural way. I'm a big, overweight guy, and I've weirdly found myself listening to my body more and eating less because, surprise surprise, I'm not actually hungry. That's not to say I don't enjoy a good chocolate bunny once in a while, but it still affects how your perceive your daily habits, the minutiae that fills a day.

I've also been appreciating nature way more; lazy afternoons in the back garden, walking the dog when the sun's been out. Admittedly it's also been raining, but I've been enjoying that too - engaging in my teenage delight of afternoon naps while it pours outside, or of falling asleep on a night to the sounds of a thunderstorm (admittedly from a CD, but... semantics).

This is just the next step in a journey that these experiments are giving me - I'm not sure where they'll take me, but I'm looking forward to seeing where I end up...

I like the way you feel casual about your "teenage delight at afternoon naps". I have never been an afternoon nap type of a person but its refreshing to see someone taking it easy. You're got a dog which gives you (if I maybe so bold) a great opportunity to get out in the fresh air and do some serious walking - good for the mind, good for the body, good for the soul. Try a long walk with the dog, then get back home have a chocolate bar and then a nap - sounds very relaxing, something the Dude would be into. Hope you're over your cold - I think we all got that one - what a stinker it was/is. Take it easy.
