We’ve got some exciting projects planned over the next few months at Psychologies and I definitely need all my wits about me. Just back from holiday, I feel revived but I know how quickly I can lose my energy to the overwhelm so have decided to focus on making sure I fill my energy tank daily.

I’ve been flirting with a yoga practice recently – we have one yoga class at week at Psychologies but trying to cram more in was proving impossible so I started searching the internet for some online classes. That’s how I came across Kat Farrants and her inspiring UK based online yoga company Movement for Modern Life. Within 24 hours, we’d arranged a meeting and we bonded big style. Kat had used yoga to transform her life - making a leap from a job that sucked her soul plus using yoga to heal after a relationship breakdown. The thing that impressed me the most was Kat’s authenticity as well as her passion for the transformational power of yoga.

That’s why I asked her to create a free yoga channel for us at Psychologies. I love people who walk the talk – it completely inspires me.

So I’ve decided to create a daily practice for myself this month. I will attempt to do all four yoga classes on the channel every week – plus on the other days, just a few of the basic poses I know – downward dog, warrior pose and some meditation.

I’ll let you know how I get on.

I'm so chuffed we bonded and you love what we do! Yes, the journey from being a lawyer, to the divorce, to starting my own business hasn't been easy, but I wouldn't swap it for the world. I get to work with amazing yoga teachers and meet people like you! Making the best teachers and classes really easy and accessible is what it's all about - today I did my 20 minute class in my lunch break. I really hope you find the time this month, Suzy, even if it's just 10 minutes a day! Let me know how you get along ;-)
