How to be an Energetic Match for Creating Your Dream Reality.

Energy is everything, you have complete control over getting yourself into the energetic state you need for creating the results you want. This is how you beat overwhelm and feeling disempowered.

Would you agree that it takes fuel energy to run the majority of cars on the road today? 

Would you agree that if you want your phone to work to the best of it’s ability, it needs to be charged regularly?

Would you agree that the human body needs energy in the form of food, water and sleep for it to function properly? 

Of course you would, everyone knows that this is how all of these things work. 

You get out what you put in. 

If you wanted to drive a certain distance you’d need to put in the right amount of fuel. 

If you wanted to use your phone for calls, texts and internet and you knew you were going to be using it a lot that day, you’d make sure you had a charger with you.

If you were going to exercise or be busy all day, you’d be aware of making sure that you replaced the energy you used up in the form of nutrition and rest. 

So when it comes to creating your dream life, whether that’s just figuring out what it would look like, or actually taking practical action towards it - can you see how important it is to manage your energetic state?

If your energetic state is one of overwhelm, fear, exhaustion, doubting, anxiety and disempowerment, you’re not going to create the results you desire. 

This may feel confronting, especially if you feel like you have no control over your mental energy. 

If you’re finding yourself feeling overwhelmed then you haven't been paying close enough attention to your thoughts. 

Here’s what I mean…

Your feelings and emotions are a direct result of your thoughts. 

It all starts with your thoughts. 

Most of our thoughts are subconscious which means we don’t naturally notice them, but they’re there and they create your feelings and emotions. 

Your thoughts are the mental energy fuel that you use to create your results so you need to start paying attention to them.

Because so many of these are subconscious, the first time you become aware of them is when you feel the feeling associated. 

When this happens, if you’re practicing self-awareness and mastery of your mind, you will notice the feeling and if it’s a negative or disempowering one (which subconscious ones often are because they are trying to keep you safe) you can choose to question it. 

You can choose to investigate where the feeling came from and put words to your subconscious thoughts. Then you can decide if that’s the perspective you want to have. 

Overwhelm is when you feel completely overtaken by a certain emotion, which is why I say that if you’re feeling overwhelmed, you haven’t noticed the emotion when it first popped up, you weren’t practicing self-awareness effectively enough.

I spent most of my late twenties in a state of near constant overwhelm, so I hold no judgement if this is true for you now. I want to let you know that this is why you’re feeling it and this is how to prevent yourself from getting into that state where you feel so powerless. 

When you’re feeling powerless it’s impossible to create the reality you want. Your energetic fuel tank is empty, you’re stalling and about to break down. 

When you notice what’s going on and choose to focus on the empowering perspective, you’re filling up your energetic fuel tank.

This is a practice and may feel difficult to start with because it might not be what you’re used to, but it’s so effective.

 If you want to create your dream life, you need to have the energy levels to match it.

Check in with what your body needs, is it a nap, some water, exercise etc. 

I literally just jumped and danced around my living room for four songs worth of time, which is about twelve minutes of non-stop movement and it gave me such a huge energy boost. 

Check in with what your mind needs, is it a new choice of perspective, some journaling, meditation, reading, reaching out to a coach or mentor, watching an inspirational video or writing out positive affirmations.  

Your body and mind are connected, you need to check in with both to be effective and successful in creating the reality you want.

You can do this! You are in complete control of your energetic state, you just need to start practicing self-awareness and choosing to take action.
