It feels like there is a dark cloud hanging over the country at the moment. The year doesn't really feel like it's truly started and yet we're halfway through it. It feels like a nasty hangover. One week of tragedy, bad news or dread is followed  by another, often just creating more divisions between people. I think we're all sick of it.

So, in a small way, to combat the barrage of psychological warfare why not spread some good news this week. The challenge is to find one thing you've recently found that in your opinion is GREAT and needs to be shared.

It might be a book, a film, an ideal, a quote, a piece of art, a piece of music, it could be anything. Whatever it is spread the good news. Make phone calls to family and friends, send e-mails, talk about it passionately in work, stimulate conversation. Contact friends you haven't heard from recently. Talk about how good this new thing makes you feel, rejoice in the pleasure it gives you and go on and on about it until people either get it, check it out or get bored of your constant chatter and the happiness it brings you.

To get the ball rolling; a couple of months ago I came across a band called Stone Foundation and their new album Street Rituals. I don't think I've ever heard a more positive record ever. It is a glimmer of hope in these dark days. Please check it out, it's beautiful. Even if it's not your thing, at least enjoy it's message of hope, it's something to hold on to; "It's time to start a season of change."

All the best

Mark

Cheers, Kiran. I hope you've listened to the Stone Foundation, Street Rituals album - very mellow, beautiful and fills the soul with some hope that the world's not all bad and filled with something soulful and good.
