move on

my second challenge for wake up year 2

Like Comment

Last week my laptop died on me. It held all of my written work from the last five years. I lost notes, short stories, long stories, ideas, assignments; everything. It also held hundreds of digital photos on it too.

My initial reaction was, "No, you're joking. Why me?"

The laptop may have been brought back to life my a computer whizz-kid, an electronics doctor, but an idea popped into my head; move on.

So many things in life emotionally tie us down. So this weeks 'wake up' challenge is to move on from something that is emotionally tying you down.

It may well be in 'that' box we all have of memories and mementos. It may well be an image in your head, a regret or sorrow. Whatever it is find something and let it go and free yourself by moving on.

Let me know how you got on.

I've moved on and I'm using Sarah's laptop, ha, ha, ha. Some of the stuff that's gone is in here (points to heart even though all thoughts and memories are stored in the head, ahem) anyway. Thanks for your positive feedback. Wake Up's a little like a ghost ship at the moment. Never mind I see land ahoy! Happy sailing.
