WorkLifeBliss Manifesto
In 2005, my book "Wits' End Before Breakfast! Confessions of a Working Mum" was published in Australia. It told of the unadulterated chaos in my life, caused largely by my own choices and over-commitment. Over a decade later, things couldn't be more different. Life still throws some chaos my way, as it does for us all, but I've changed the way I respond. This 'manifesto' is a collection of the lessons I've learned along the way. Feel free to download it, print it and share it with friends.

Wow, as a people pleaser in recovery - I love this!
Thanks, Suzy. I'm a people-pleaser-in-recovery myself, and constantly work on letting go of the angst involved in saying 'no'. I try to remind myself that saying 'no' gives meaning to my 'yes'.
On that note, have you seen a recent book by an author named Jacqui Marson, called "The Curse of Lovely: How to break free from the demands of others and learn to say 'no'"? It's worth a look!
