Overcoming pessimism and self- limiting assumptions

As an ex head-hunter and now coach and mentor, I often come across people who are prone to self limiting assumptions and sadly, these often become self fulfilling. For some people these derive from a pessimistic mind set and for others, they are picked up along the way, through adverse childhood or career experiences for example. As I was driving on the motorway the other day, overtaking a huge lorry with my little car, I suddenly realised I was very tense on the stirring wheel and my body was leaning forward as if trying to overtake the lorry with my body and not with my car!

Why You Shouldn't Work During the Holidays (and What You Should Do Instead)
