Why should you be less resilient?

You maybe strong, but is your sticking power simply stopping you from doing something even more amazing?

A lot has been written about resilience and how building resilience in what we do can be a real benefit. But is this really the case?

Is building resilience, really just masking a change decision that we need to take?

By thinking slightly differently, we invite a new player to enter the life stage – allowing you and giving you permission to think slightly differently.

What if … you now think of the reason for having resilience as the starting point and explore the possibilities that could now be opened for you?

What if … you now allow yourself to dream big to dream new and to dream again of what could be?

What if … we now start to build a plan to achieve the dream making this dream come to life?

We find that we become adaptable and absolutely do work towards a new future that may require us to take an exciting decision.

But we often shy away from taking that exciting decision, just like the extra 5 reps in the gym that we know will do us some good. Neuroscience tells us that we need to exercise the brain and form the new pathways of thinking.

What if … we now consider taking small step changes towards this new place and that over time they incrementally deliver the dream?

What could your first small step be towards your new future?

I work with people that want to make a difference but perhaps do not know how to yet. They could have a bigger purpose, or need that is not in focus yet and needs to be 'unblocked'. I help entrepreneurs, social innovators, and business leaders to be their passion, to be their dream and make it real. I am a big dreamer, but I find that this alone does not unleash my full potential, so I get this space.
