What do you need to have in common with your good friends?

Good friends are enjoyable to be with.  They freely give us energy.  They offer support.  They cheerlead our achievements.  They support us when we stumble.  They are kind, and respectful.  They tell us the truth.  They even say things we may not want to hear to help us be honest with ourselves.

You do all this for your good friends.  Do you extend yourself the same courtesies?  If not, its time to start.  Friendship begins inside, with the way you treat yourself.

If you would not say it to a dear friend, don’t say it to yourself

If you would not do it to a dear friend, don’t do it to yourself
