OK, time for silliness, and to do something I've been thinking about for a little while...

A month or so ago I was at a BBQ with friends. Alcohol may have been partaken... Somehow, someone started singing "Food, Glorious Food" from Oliver!, albeit with a few, shall we say, edits... I found this rather inspiring and, just for fun, here's a snippet of where my mind went.

Mood, I'm in a mood,

What's this that I've just heard?

Night sweats are the good part

Menopausal and flustered!

Chin hairs and my memory's shot

What next is the question?

I thought I was still red hot

But that's just my aggression!

My mood, glorious mood,

I'm in a mood...

It's been a little while since I've been inspired, but I have a little collection of re-written song and poems that mark transitions in my life, so I'm grateful for the reminder (although, clearly this one was pure speculation...). Bet you'll never guess what I did with The Night Before Christmas...

I'm sitting hear feeling sorry for myself because my cold is heavier than someone who is obese, I'm feeling rotten and full of crap that I'm trying to get off my chest, I'm drinking a coffee and Bobby is begging me to play and feed him and I'm wishing I didn't have to go to work in an hours time but all I can think is; I want to know more about this Night Before Christmas ditty. Pray tell...
